How long have you worked at Digital Popcorn?
16 months
What do you do around here?
I’m an Enterprise Relationship Manager. I’m the link between technical teams and the clients. My role is to ensure the work we do is tied to clients’ objectives and that we will deliver results that meet client’s KPIs.
What do you like most about your job?
I love working with clients, getting to know their business and becoming an external part of their team. I love creating strategies that help them grow. I also love data and going deep into analytics and finding new opportunities for growth and improvement of online visibility.
What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?
Nothing is impossible if you put in consistent effort. It always pays off!
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
During my childhood, I wanted to be a detective and solve mysteries. I read all the books about Sherlock Holmes, Hercules Poirot, Miss Marple and other detectives!
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
I love traveling and exploring new places. Since moving to New Zealand, I go on trips at least once a month (when there is no lockdown). During lockdowns, I explore nearby parks and always keep finding new spots!
What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?
I used to study in a Cadet boarding school for 10 years in Moscow. Part of our study programs was learning ball dancing and how to assemble and dissemble a Kalashnikov (AK-47) rifle.
Where’s your favourite place you’ve travelled to?
I’ve been in over 35 countries – it’s hard to choose one but spending a night in Sahara Desert was pretty special!
What is your motto or personal mantra?
“I can do it.”
What tv show/movie are you ashamed to admit you love?
I’m definitely not ashamed of it, but I used to be obsessed with Xena: Warrior Princess. That was really popular in Russia, I used to watch it every week when I was about 7-12 years old. Three years ago, I learned that that was a New Zealand show – it was a massive surprise for me! I rewatched all the episodes! I got so inspired that I decided to be Xena for a work Christmas party a couple of years ago. That was my dream come true!
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Time travel! Would love to see ancient empires and extinct animals, meet my great grandparents
What is one food that you cannot resist?
Cheese
